Enter my Christmas Card Competition
Calling all primary school-aged children in Bournemouth East!
I’m delighted to announce my 2025 Christmas Card Competition is now open! This is a chance for children across Bournemouth to get creative, and get into the Christmas spirit earlier than usual.
Each year, I send a Christmas card to local organisations, community leaders, and even the Prime Minister. This year, I want the card to be designed by someone in Bournemouth!
The deadline for my office receiving entries is Thursday, 13th November 2025.
🖼️ Theme:
This year’s theme is “Bournemouth at Christmas”.
For some, Christmas in Bournemouth might mean wrapping up warm for a stroll along Southbourne beach, or spotting the lights of the Christmas trees in the gardens. For others, it could be watching the Cherries at home with a hot chocolate in hand.
However you spend this time of year—whether you celebrate Christmas or enjoy a moment of quality time with your loved ones—I’d love to see what spending the season in Bournemouth means to you.
🏆 Prizes:
- The winning design will feature on the front of my Christmas card
- There will be a winning design from each school, with a certificate for each winner
This is the perfect opportunity to showcase the creativity we have in Bournemouth!
✍️ Eligibility & Rules:
The competition is open to all children of primary-school age living, or attending a school in, Bournemouth East.
All artwork should be hand-drawn or painted on A4 paper. To help my team scan entries, please keep designs flat and free from glitter or stuck-on materials. I’d recommend using pencils, pens, crayons, and paints!
