Every time I knock on doors and visit local schools, I hear just how much people care about their playgrounds.

The Liberal Democrats plan to cut the playgrounds at the Harewood site. I think this is wrong and I need your support to stop this cut and save Harewood playgrounds.

Sadly, the Liberal Democrats, Greens, and Reform voted against a Labour £1.5m budget to invest in your playgrounds.

We could be investing in Harewood’s playgrounds (and, had those parties backed our plan, filling more potholes and rescuing libraries such as Charminster Library).

Play isn’t a luxury—it’s essential for children to enjoy themselves, build friendships, get away from screens, and forge stronger communities.

Few things sit at the heart of a community like a playground.

Please sign my petition to save the Harewood playgrounds now. And please share this petition with people who may be interested locally.

We, the undersigned, petition BCP Council to save the playgrounds at Harewood.
